Practice after Taylor's Class

2nd Macarons Class: By Ex-Laduree' Chef

This is very interesting part! I can't wait to update it here! Friends out there, listen! :) I just completed 1 short course of Macarons - yesterday (Sat;13-Aug-11). What makes me so happy & excited? Reasons:-

i. The chef is Chef Karam Godrel. Previously worked with Laduree'. (Its Laduree' ok!) Yippe!
ii. The chef taught us by applying Italian Meringue Method. (this is what I'm looking for)
iii. The course held at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. (very canggih kitchen & you will feel that you are in the Masterchef's Programme! haha. me so over!)

Here we go ladies & gentlemen...Lets enjoy the show!

This is my new trial by using Swiss Meringue Method which I did it last weekend. No time to update this blog. OK..Lets see the pictures.








Caramel Puddings, its different!

Hi, just got order from one of my colleagues for Caramel Puddings. Just to share that this Caramel Puddings by Diyana Rahman is something different from others. I got this recipes from one of the ambassador's wife who was frequently travelling over few countries before.  

The taste is different. Difficult to prescribe. No additional coloring. Before I had this recipe, I never taste the same Caramel Puddings as per this.

YES!! At last...the feet appears!

After so many trials (if I'm not mistaken about 7 trials with failure), after so many researches & study (via books/ blogs/other food networks), after so many harassing Q's to the chefs & blogger chefs, at last, the feet appears and  YES! My macarons are now perfect! (jumping with madness). Alhamdulillah.

Seriously its very difficult to prepare this kind of patisserie.  I also don't know why I am patience of all these! This small & colorful thingy is addicted to make & really challenge myself to the max.

Points to ponder:-
  • Never give up, keep trying & asking
  • Dream to achieve it & well... by having a dream, you will pursue towards it!
(sorry for the free motivational talks...haha! Cause I am so extremely happy now!)

Yesterday, I had prepared 2 flavors of macs, i.e. Rose & Coffee. Very interesting parts since I bake it hopelessly. Just for the sake of try & error (since so many trials before - failed!). My mother in law became my witness of joyful momento..(ya lah after 3mins of baking - the feet came out).
